Meant to Beats provides a solution for the lack of female representation in music, while building on essential life-long skills such as confidence to lead.
The DJ profession is predominantly male, leading to a lack of opportunities for females to start DJing. This creates a barrier for aspiring female DJs who may feel discouraged or lack the resources to pursue their passion.
Meant to Beats DJ School is creating a unique platform where creativity meets business acumen and financial literacy. We provide not only DJ training but also teach financial and entrepreneurial skills to empower our students to succeed in the industry and beyond.
Why is this critical for young women?
Providing access to Djing not only expands the realm of what's possible for our youth, it also develops confidence. At Meant to Beats we encourage our students to find their own beat, own, and lead the room.
Who is on the team?
Our team is composed of experienced DJs and educators who are passionate about mentoring the next generation of talent.
